- Attend City Council meeting on April 28 or send them a public comment email at ashevillecitycouncilapr282026@publicinput.com. Ask them to require a Ravenscroft traffic study as a condition of their approval of 50 Coxe Ave affordable housing development. The city excluded the dangerous Hilliard/Ravenscroft intersection from their approval process. Ravenscroft will see an increase of 70 cars/day. Protecting resident parking, turning Ravenscroft into a one-way, northbound street and addressing the curb at Ravenscroft and Sawyer need to be requested, as well. Meeting is at City Hall: 2nd floor Council Chamber at 5:00pm.
